MANY TIMES WE WANT TO LOCK APPLICATIONS AND RESTRICT MEMORY IN OUR COMPUTERS TO PREVENT OVERLY USE OF OUR COMPUTERS IN ANY WRONG WORK.  THIS IS THE REASON WHY WE LOCK COMPUTER OR PROVIDE SPECIAL PERSMISSIONS TO THE USER OF A SINGLE MACHINE.  IF IT IS USED BY MANY USERS IN ANY TIME PERIOD.

GO TO RUN à WRITE GPUPDATE /FORCE

 

NOW LET US SEE ABOUT DISC QUOTA OR SAY LIMITING COMPUTER  MEMORY FOR USERS OF A SINGLE PC.

CREATE 3 USER ACCOUNTS USER1, USER2, USER3.   USER1 CAN ACCESS 10GB, USER2 CAN ACCESS 20GB, USER3 CAN ACCESS 30GB  à GO TO MY COMPUTERà THIS PC à NEXT/ACCOUNTS àOPEN à RIGHT CLICK ON D DRIVE à PROPERTIES à SELECT QUOTA SETTINGS àSHOW QUOTA SETTINGS àCLICK ENABLE QUOTA MANAGEMENT à DENY DISC SPACE TO USERS EXCEEDING QUOTA LIMIT à SHOW QUOTA ENTRY à CLICK ON QUOTA ENTRIES à NEW QUOTA ENTRY àTYPE USER 2 àGIVE LIMIT DISC SPACE 10 GB AND WARNING 9 GB

 

NTFS SECURITY PERMISSIONS



NOW I AM GOING TO SAY FEW THINGS ABOUT HOW TO GIVE NTFS PERMISSION TO THE FILE FOR SECURITY REASONS.

 

CREATE TWO USERS MESSI AND RONALDO àCREATE TWO DRIVE PARTITIONS FOR MESSI AND RONALDO E:/ DRIVE FOR MESSI AND F:/ DRIVE FOR RONALDO  à CONDITION 1>MESSI CANNOT ACCESS RONALDOS DRIVE AND 2> RONALDO CANNOT ACCESS MESSI’S DRIVE à RIGHT CLICK ON E:/ DRIVE ON MESSI’S PERMISSION à PROPERTIES àSECURITY  àCLICK ON EDIT à TYPE RONALDO USERS NAME à CHECK NAMES à PRESS OK à DENY FULL CONTROL à APPLY à YES à OK à OK.

 

NOW LET US SEE HOW TO GIVE SPECIAL PERMISSION

MESSI AND RONALDO WILL ONLY HAVE READ ONLY PERMISIONS ON EACH OTHER DRIVE
